Senior Software Engineer, Team Leader {Quantum Computing, Compiler}CambridgeUp to £150,000 DOE + 28 days holiday + equity + much more...Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking to move into Quantum Computing Do you want to work with the most cutting-edge technologies alongside some of the LARGEST names in the industry Do you have what it takes to lead a team of engineers and scientistin shaping the technical road map of the future.. Not only is the future of the business in your hands, but quite literally the advancementsin the industry as a whole; hiring, growing, coaching; leading the way, building, scaling, monitoring and optimising applications as you help to shape the technical road map.Leading a team of Developers, Engineers and Scientists it will be your sole responsibility to manage the software development for the compilers, cloud infrastructures, services, and programming environment as well as carry out original research and to maintainand drive forward the business current position in the sector by collaborating with leading hardware companies, start-ups, universities, and government agencies.This role would suit an aspiring Senior Software Engineer or Software Manager who feels they have something more to give, someone who has the courage to lead and be different.   • Innovation, original research to maintain and drive current position in the sector.
  • Manage software development for compiler, cloud and programming environment.
  • Establish and maintain the highest level of standards, reliability, scalability, performance.
  • Collaborate with new and existing partners.
  • Be yourself
The Person
  • MSc, PhD or equivalent in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Extensive software development experience, Python, C++.
  • Personal interest/academic experience with Quantum Computing/Technology.
  • Leadership experience, AGILE, SCRUM, PRINCE desirable.
