Temporary contract initially until June 2022Are you an experienced Software Engineer with C# and multi-threaded coding skills Would you like to work with a globally renowned tech giant working in a highly talented multidisciplined team working on cutting edge technology Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for Senior Engineers who can offer demonstrable C# and Multi-threaded coding experience to work on the software element for optical imaging systems, which forms part of a revolutionary new techniquein data storage. This role will suit someone who can work independently with minimal supervision towards broadly defined tasks within a team environment. You will need to be able to thrive in a highly agile research environment where priorities and tasks change frequently. What You Offer We are looking for someone with excellent software design and implementation skills. The ideal person is a seasoned developer, able to work productively modifying an existing codebase, managing exotic hardware devices, occasionally in a multi-threaded context. This project spans multiple disciplines, so the ability to communicate well with other team members and support overall team goals is crucial. What youll do in the Role A day will usually involve some mixture of: investigating unusual code behaviour, debugging and diagnosing root causes, modifying existing code, testing changes. Occasionally writing new code. Talking to other team members to clarify requirements and coordinateover the use of equipment. This is an opportunity for you to influence high impact, disruptive projects. Youll enjoy being challenged and learning new skills. The solutions developed are overwhelmingly for prototype systems, often with fast iteration rates. The client has a fail-fastattitude where experimentation and risk are embraced. This requires a research mindset, as many of the problems were solving have never been tackled before.
