Senior Software Developer - £65k-£75k - Cambridgeshire - Technology & ProductMy client is a world-leading deep tech company. Their products are utilised internationally to develop the next generation of a wide range of consumer electronics. They are rapidly expanding their team and looking for an experienced developer to extend theirsoftware suite.Main Duties:+ Contributing to the code base and generating efficient code: profiling, optimising, benchmarking.+ Involvement in the full software development cycle.+ Maintaining, implementing and extending good coding standards.+ Advising and leading by example for junior team members.Essential Skills:+ Bachelors degree in computer science, or a related field.+ Proficient in C/C++ and Python.+ Substantial knowledge of cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, Android).+ Experience with API development, and a variety of the following: OpenGL, Vulkan, C#, CUDA, Unity+ Experience with version control (Git, SVN, ClearCase, etc.)+ Strong problem solving and communication skills.Non-Essential Skills:+ Good knowledge of embedded platform development.+ An interest in/knowledge of VHDL, FPGAs, Verilog or SystemVerilog.+ An interest in AR/VR.What youll get:+ 25 days paid holiday, plus bank holidays+ Flexible core hours and hybrid working arrangements.+ Good benefits package: maternity/paternity pay, cycle to work scheme, PMI with Vitality, and more.
