Job Description

Phage Display, Antibody Discovery, Biologics, Immunoassays, Protein Science, Immunology Your new companyEstablished by one of the main pioneers of modern antibody phage display technologies, our client is an internationally recognised biotech, on a mission to establish partnerships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide to fully optimise antibodyresearch, utilising their novel mammalian display platform!Your new role

  • Following on from a lucrative partnership with a global biopharma, a rare opportunity has risen for a senior specialist to experience a huge range of diverse projects centered around next generation display technologies, combined with immune and nave libraryapproaches, in collaboration with world-leading scientists and entrepreneurs.
  • Working closely with the CTO as part of the antibody discovery team, you will be involved in the identification and optimisation of biologics by designing and executing experiments, analysing/interpreting data, and communicating results to the team andexternal partners.
What youll need to succeed
  • You will hold a PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Immunology/Molecular Biology (or in a similar scientific discipline), and possess strong knowledge, and lab experience of molecular and cellular biology techniques.
  • You will possess skills/abilities of display technology techniques (e.g. phage, ribosome display, yeast).
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
  • Experience of protein science, e.g. Ab/Ab formats, using mammalian expression systems for recombinant protein expression, and subsequent purification (e.g., AKTA, ion exchange, affinity chromatography).
  • Immunology and immunoassays
  • Any other relevant experience towards antibody discovery and engineering.
