Job Description

Biochemical assays, Structural biology, Phage libraries, Protein Engineering, Drug Discovery, Immunology Your new companyPioneers in the development and commercialisation of natural killer T-cell therapies for cancer and other immune-mediated diseases, our client is a successful biotech, currently at their post-IPO status focusing on developing the best-in-class therapies usingtheir next-generation platform to develop novel engineered iNKT cell therapies!Your new roleAs a senior member of this exciting discovery group, you will actively contribute to the development of their CAR and iNKT-cell platforms by:

  • Performing in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays to analyse the affinity and activity of new formats/ phage library outputs.
  • Designing, purifying and characterising formats of novel protein, bispecific, multi-specific antibodies, and CARs.
  • Generating ideas of engineering and format for platform development.
What youll need to succeed
  • PhD in Protein Engineering, Biochemistry, Cell Biology (or a related discipline), plus relevant post-doctorate research experience in antibody/ protein engineering and structural biology within a drug discovery industrial environment.
  • Experience in protein expression, purification, and biochemical characterisation (e.g. Biacore, ELISA, FRET etc).
  • Experience in screening protein display libraries and analysing output data (experience in screening protein display libraries and analysing output data is an advantage).
