Job Description

Role – Senior Scientist (Immunology) – Screening ServicesLocation - CambridgeLength – PermanentSalary - £43,000 to £50,000 DOEWe are seeking an experiences Immunologist to work within an extremely successful cell-based Screening Services Department.As a Senior Scientist your roles and responsibilities will include,

  • Working to brief, plan and perform Immunology screening assays with minimal support and supervision
  • Be seen as a technical expert and actively present experimental findings
  • Prepare high quality client facing interpretative reports and data packages
  • Provide mentorship for both junior scientists and scientific students
    • The successful person will require,
  • An expert in human T cell biology, with a broad knowledge of other immune cell types
  • Extensive experience isolating and handling primary human immune cells and performing standard immunological and flow cytometry assays
  • Experience with imaging platforms including confocal microscopy, high content imaging and live imaging
  • Extremely competent and demonstrate experience of immunocytochemistry, cell culture and cell treatment
