Senior Scientist, IHC NPDLocation: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB2 0AXSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentThe Role - Senior Scientist Immunohistochemistry, New Product Development:Abcam are a leading supplier of protein research tools to life scientists, with a global reputation for high performance products with detailed technical specifications. As we continue our rapid growth and success, we now have a need for a new permanent role within our New Product Development (NPD) function for a Senior Scientist with skills in IVD or pharmaceutical development.Working closely with stakeholders from across our sites in NPD and interacting closely with the NPD IHC Team Leader, you will be responsible for the transfer of recombinant RUO antibodies into an enhanced validation stream suitable for IVD and pharmaceutical customers.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in automated immunohistochemistry using Leica Bond and/or Ventana Discovery systems in an IVD or pharmaceutical GCPL setting. Additionally, you will have a sound knowledge of antibody validation methods, IHC multiplexing and in situ hybridisation.This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an outstanding immunohistochemistry team in the Antibody Validation & Characterisation group in Cambridge and support the development of antibodies to aid researchers and scientists across the world to achieve their research missions, faster!Senior Scientist Immunohistochemistry, New Product Development - Roles and responsibilities:
