Senior Scientist (Genomic Screening)PermanentCambridgeshireCompetitive SalaryMy client is a leading biotechnology company within Cambridgeshire and due to recent expansion they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Scientist to join their Genomic Screening team. Key duties of the role will be to design, develop and deliver innovative and complex CRISPR screening assays in cell-based model systems. You will also be interpreting experimental data and analysing the results and working closely with clients to ensure project aims are met. This is a hands-on laboratory-based role working with start-of-the-art screening platforms.To be eligible to apply for the position you must meet the following criteria:- Be educated to PhD level with relevant post-doc/industrial experience- Have extensive experience of mammalian cell culture and performing various cell based assays- Have proven experience in developing cell-based screening assays- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills- Be flexible and adaptable within a dynamic working environmentDesirable experience:- Experience with high through-out assays and CRISPR-Cas9- Industrial experience in a relevant role will be highly advantageousIf this sounds like a role you would be interested in then please apply below
