Senior Public Health Manager (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Drugs and Alcohol)An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Public Health Manager in Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council shared Public Health Joint Commissioning Unit. You will be part of a dedicated commissioning division with a vision for innovation and continued improvement.You will be highly motivated, experienced with a dynamic forward-thinking public health practitioner ‘can do’ approach and a proven track record of delivery.You will be joining the service at a critical stage as we move into therestoration and recovery of services as part of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our local residents and service users are at the heart everything we do. Working across the county you will be expected to drive improvement through collaboration and partnership working with specialist services and partner agencies as we move towards business as usual mitigating the impact of COVID-19.This role requires proven experience of working within the public health arena and in particular has sound knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and substance misuse (both policy and practice), commissioning experience, epidemiology, commercial awareness, service user involvement, auditing and quality improvement and an ability to manage and deliver prevention based projects to deliver change.Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
