Job Description

We have an opportunity for aSenior Project Manager to join a global leading technology manufacturer. The Senior Project Manager will have come from a technical background with proven experience of delivering Hardware / Electronic products from conception to high volume production whilst managing risks, budgets, personnel and objectives. Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Must have experience of managing projects to delivering Hardware / Electronic products from conception to high volume production / manufacturing
  • Must have experience of project managing multi-disciplined engineering teams (e.g. Embedded Software, Hardware, Electronics, PCB, Quality ETC)
  • Must be very organised and diligent with the ability to control the room when holding meetings
  • Calm and controlled when setting expectations for the team
    • Other Nice to have non-essential skills include
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Training in project management to a project manager level, with accredited certification through IPMA, APM, Prince 2 or IPM or equivalent
  • Experience with NPI/NPD of complex electronic projects, with outsourcing to Far East and / or European Contract Manufacturer’s with a good understanding of lead times for project planning.
  • Experience of improving production policies to aid in reducing waste, cost and time while improving quality.
