This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a background in Cisco, CCNP, Switching & Routing, ASA Firewall and VoIP. Its a great mix of both BAU and Project work and will be a highly varied, covering switching & routing, security, Wifi and Telephony. If you have come from a managed services environment and can confidently work with a varied client base.This is a fast-paced role in a young, lively environment. This is URGENT so please get your CV over ASAP!Experience:* Minimum 5 years experience as a LAN/WAN engineer in a large IT environment (50+ network devices).* CISCO & Juniper certifications* Experience with configuration, administration and troubleshooting experience of LAN switches, routers and firewalls* Knowledge of QoS and LAN traffic management techniques* Experience designing, deploying and configuring Telephony (VoIP)* Good knowledge of network management system* Experience in Management / high level technical escalation* Strong communications skills, including good written and spoken English* Able to work calmly and positively under pressure in a collaborative team environment* Provide clear direction and mentor the engineering team* Able to work methodically to prioritise workload, whilst managing interruptions* Knowledge of JUNOS and Juniper SRX, QFX, MX and EX -series products* VMware, Server, Storage & BackupStart: ImmediateLocation: Cambridge, CambridgeshireSalary: £50,000 to £60,000If you are interested in this position, feel you have the relevant experience and skills and would like to apply, please call our team on or apply online.
