Job Description

Location: Cambridge, UK (Office based position) - Hybrid office/home working programme, enabling the team to work from home but also come into their gorgeous offices 2 or 3 times a week. Its completely flexible and arranged directly withthe line manager upon startingOur client is a Specialist Life Sciences Marketing Agency who have a passion for how science can continue to improve the world around us, and secondly, how they can play their part by connecting life science professionals with the people, tools and technologiesthey need.Examples of industry sectors they currently work in: Life Sciences / Biotechnology, Drug Discovery, Contract / Laboratory Research, Life Sciences Informatics/ LIMS, Laboratory / Clinical Diagnostics and BiopharmaThe Requirements of the Senior Marketing Account Manager:

  • To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 5 years+ working for a Marketing Agency or in an Inhouse Marketing role within Life Sciences / Biotech, Laboratory Equipment / Consumables supplies or the Biosciences/ Biopharma industry
  • Have a diverse and deep knowledge of the modern marketing mix, including demonstrable knowledge of how owned, earned, paid and social media can be leveraged across a wide range of digital and traditional channels to drive business results
  • A strong eye for effective creative work, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for the highest possible standards of work quality
  • Must be living in a commutable distance to Cambridge

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting the business challenges faced by the companies clients (for example, bottlenecks in their sales funnel) and then making recommendations to solve these issues
  • Creating integrated marketing strategies and plans that are targeted to these needs and objectives, applying an in-depth knowledge of all marketing tactics to select appropriate activities and channels that deliver results
  • Managing and executing against plans by briefing and working with our clients specialist executional teams to deliver results, on deadline and on budget
  • Reviewing content, assets and deliverables to ensure they are of high quality, effectively meet or exceed the brief and effectively communicate key client messages
  • Building client relationships, managing projects and effectively communicating expectations, plans and results across the combined agency-client team
  • Working with the leadership team to uncover novel ways to support our clients current and future clients by suggesting innovative marketing solutions to help them further improve results over time
