Job Description

Do you know your way around the Microsoft server stack, Windows 2016 File Server, Active Directory, IIS, and SQL We are searching for a Senior IT Technician to join an IT service provider in the vehicle rental industry. The successful candidate will havestrong experience with DNS, websites, domain authority websites and exposure to firewalls, switches, and configurations.Role OverviewYou will be working with outsourced IT helpdesk and support partners to provide 2nd line support to garages across the country. From setting up laptops to migration of services to the cloud.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting end-users with Microsoft Desktop enquiries and issues.
  • Providing support with Active Directory, IIS and SQL.
  • Work with the team to implement company processes.
  • Managing projects from start to finish.
  • Migration of services to the cloud. (Azure and Private)
  • Collaborating with external providers.
  • Management of DNS, websites and domain authority websites.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of servers.
  • Experience working with firewalls, switches, and configurations - Highly desirable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft server stack and Windows 2016.
  • Previous experience in server migration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
