An Overview of the Role The Senior IT Business Manager will develop strategic relationships within our Neuroscience and Microbial Science Therapeutic Areas, identifying ways for IT to partner with them in achieving and exceeding business objectives. You will drive the delivery of new business solutions to build maximum competitive advantage. The role will combine in-depth understanding of AstraZeneca, business area strategy, domain knowledge and relevant technical expertise to drive the generation of new innovative technology solutions and continuous value from existing solutions. The desired effect of your role is to take accountability as a leader for delivering an outstanding IT experience.We see you integrating multi-functionally with other Business Leaders in the broader this area to develop and use relationships with strategic external partners in a global IT matrix, spanning 2,000+ people across the US, UK, Sweden, Poland, and India.This role requires a hybrid set of technical, business domain and leadership skills. We are looking for a leader-doer to encourage and empower an agile and diverse team of specialists in a sophisticated matrix organization.
