The company works with partners across the world, providing a comprehensive suite of solutions including electronics, firmware,operating systems and high-performance interfaces and servers.They are seeking a Senior FPGA Designer to join their FPGA team. You will work closely with the electronics and firmware team to increase the array of new FPGA and system-on-a-chip based products. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a rapidly growing global business, working alongside a gifted, multidisciplinary team of engineers.Some of the things youll be involved in (not limited to)Work on the design and development of new FPGA productsImproving and reviewing existing FPGA and SoC designsWork within a highly talented team of designers and engineers; liaise with other onsite departments to provide continuous feedback and improvementSpecifying requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification plans.Use of VHDL to express the behavioural characteristics of digital logic circuits, logic design and development You will have the following skills and experience7 years of related industrial experience Efficient logic design targeted for FPGAsStrong documentation skillsPrevious development using Hardware Definition Languages, preferably VHDL, or equivalent software such as VerilogUse of Intel Quartus Prime or Xilinx Design for synthesising, design constraining and timingUse of leading CAD tools (e.g. ModelSim) to construct self-checking regression test vectorsA knowledge of embedded programming in C/C++SoCode Recruitment are a dedicated team of specialist recruitment consultants who cover the Cambridge Technology market.
