Senior Formulation Chemist - Biotech Start-up - CambridgeA growing biotechnology company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a formulation and quality control chemist to join their fledgling team.Working within a laboratory environment, along with Biochemists, Engineers and Physicists, you will be a key member on the development team. You will be charged with translating the chemical and biological components and processes from research into productionas the company complete the design of their first product. This will also involve ensuring the quality of the chemical and biological components that ultimately go into their products and for acting as the bridge between their multidisciplinary R&D team andtheir contract manufacturers.You will also be responsible for managing the scale-up and delivery of enzymes for production and developing bioassays for their quality control.This is a well-backed start-up who have industry veterans on their board, steering them to make this product a success and allowing them to ensure future products and developments are class leading.To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with developing and documenting quality control assays and specifications, coupled with a strong academic record in biochemistry or molecular biology.
