Title: Senior Epidemiologist / Research LeadSalary: 70k-90k Depending on experienceLocation: Cambridge - Remote working AvailableAn opportunity has opened to join an Independent Research Organisation distinguished in building and accessing global data sources to drive change in clinical practice around the world. They are looking for an experienced Epidemiologist who can come in and lead their team of Researchers.Your responsibilities will include:+ Leading research proposals for academic and commercial clients.+ Developing statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses for clinical database studies and pragmatic randomised controlled trials.+ Liaising with study sponsors and steering committee experts throughout the project.+ Taking leadership of a project team from idea generation to delivery of the study outputs.+ Critically reviewing the work of other members of the research team and mentor less experienced members as necessary.+ Contributing as an author to journal publications, conference abstracts and posters.+ Presenting at international conferences. You must have: + Postgraduate degree in life sciences (e.g. MSc, PhD), epidemiology, biostatistics or equivalent with multiple years of experience in these fields.+ Demonstrable experience of large clinical database research, including practical experience of using Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) data or THIN data.+ Experience of leading health research projects from start to completion+ Analysis and dissemination of real-life research from large-scale observational studies+ Authorship of journal publications (at least 10 peer-reviewed publications)If you believe you are the suitable candidate for this position, please email your CV or any queries to
