Excellent to be working with a business who has thrived during the recent Covid situation. Due to expansion (yes you heard me right) we are looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Design Engineer - FGPA to further develop a range of technology that is being used heavily to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at present and hence the growth during these tough times. Youll be working with state of the art thermal imaging systems, commonly used by our armed services, police, security and more recently for temperature screening to detect high temperatures to protect us all. In this role you will be working for a well-established organisation as part of the R&D function. Working in a collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, software and production engineers. You will take technical lead to drive product development and project manage to ensure projects complete smoothly. Company supplied into the military/defence/Automotive industry and working on some cutting edge technology.The successful candidate will be willing to get involved and possess the following: * Circuit Design and PCB layout * Precision analogue design* Experience with new product feasibility studies * Digital design (VHDL/Verilog) * DSP and microprocessors * Power supply design * FGPA DesignWe are looking for a strong Electronic technical Lead who still wants to be hands on and drive NPD through the life cycle. The successful candidate will be required to be degree qualified within a relevant engineering discipline i.e electronics, physicss, mechatronic and be passionate about electronics.
