Job Description

Senior DevOps EngineerRemote-First (Based in the United-Kingdom)Up-to £85,000 per annum + An incredible package of benefits.Are you an evangelist for technology and innovation Do you have a strong passion for DevOps culture and methodical thinking Would you describe yourself as security-minded, with a commitment to producing quality code and documentation If this sounds likeyou, then please do read on!My client, a global leader in digital health, is looking for a candidate of the highest calibre to join their team as a Senior DevOps Engineer with core responsibility for maintaining and developing their SaaS platform.Unlike many other organisations, this role offers a real opportunity for greenfield development and encourages innovation, allowing for the effects of your work to be both observed and experienced internationally.My client welcome applications from all industries and is ideally looking for someone who:

  • Has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Is an AWS-Certified SysOps Administrator.
  • Holds an ITIL Certification.
  • Has a good understanding of how Kubernetes works.
  • Has proven knowledge of central logging (Splunk) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog) platforms.
  • Has experience working with continuous integration platforms and continuous deployment.
  • Is proficient in source code control.
Whilst working collaboratively with the rest of the DevOps team, in the role, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and developing my clients SaaS platform, as well as designing, creating, and implementing new infrastructure.
  • Road-mapping the direction of engineering across my clients infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with other teams in order to enhance my clients software, offering guidance and advice where necessary.
