Senior Business System AnalystCambridge + Home Working 2 or 3 days per weekc£43,000 - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsOur client has an opportunity for a Senior Business System Analyst to join their IT Services team. The role offers the postholder the opportunity to work from home approx. 2 or 3 days per week if desired. This key role is responsible for the Business SystemsAnalysis function, ensuring business and data integration requirements and associated processes are gathered, evaluated and benefits realisation measures identified, using effective techniques, standards, and tools.Key Responsibilities include;* Capture business requirements and map business processes where data is being handled.* Develop, define and champion the Business Analysis standard approach, tools and techniques, ensure they are used, and maintain these as an effective "tool kit".* Modelling business functions and processes. Investigate and model information flows, and data structures.* Analyse and define new business requirements involving management of data and their supporting business case justifications and create and / or contribute to project mandates and project planning documents.* Defining detailed functional specifications for new business requirements and prototyping activities to ensure specifications are fully in line with user expectations.* Analyse business issues and identify available options for consideration, specifying information flows, processes/procedures, and organisational change. To be considered for the role you will need to be an experienced Senior Business System Analyst with knowledge of data analysis and modelling. Youll be used to managing, leading or mentoring less experienced colleagues and have a real desire to make a difference.In terms of skills and experience you will need to tick off most of the following;* Substantial experience of detailed Business System Analysis use, including being part of at least one major business change project* Extensive experience of analysing detailed business requirements and complex process and data models* Extensive experience of working with relational databases* Experience of working with data/process modelling tools* Experience of working on multiple projects* Substantial authoritative knowledge of Business Analysis, data analysis, modelling and design methods and tools, including data management standards, applications and trends.* Ability to facilitate and communicate the analysis of business processes, functional and information requirements* Degree or equivalent professional qualification Depending on your level of experience, you can expect a salary in the region of £43,000 to £50,000 + benefits that include very attractive holiday entitlement, excellent pension scheme and the support of obtaining professional certifications if desired.For further information and full job description, please send your CV to Wayne Hawthorne at Vadis People Services Ltd.
