Senior Applications Biologist - Biotechnology Location: CambridgeshireSalary: £50k-£75k A brand-new opportunity for a talented Senior Applications Biologist to join an exciting Cambridge based spin out organisation. The company is developing high-tech/low-volume, bespoke scientific laboratory automation equipment which is set to revolutionisethe Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology markets. With a queue of clients and a stack of off-plan pre-orders for the systems, this technology and company is set to evolve -and grow, rapidly. The Senior Applications Biologist will head up the developmentof cell culture and assay protocols using our latest automation platform.The role requires a strong theoretical and practical grounding in biology, but also the individual should be comfortable in working with biology automation equipment involving liquid handling and processing of lab-ware and consumables, and overall equipmentprocess control.The Senior Applications Biologist will be the expert with the new biology automation system, develop and release new biology protocols, support and mentor junior staff, and oversee all biology-related aspects of a development lab and lead/perform the demonstrationsto customers.The Senior Applications Biologist will need the following:
