Job Description

***Calling on all Educational Leavers, Working Parents, Security Officers in Cambridge and surrounding areas***42 hours per week4on 4off Shift PatternHave you had your eye on the security industry for a while Have you just finished your education and are looking for your next career move Or maybe you have always wanted an SIA license but havent got around to booking itLook no further - Securitas is offering the opportunity to fund your SIA training in return for you to join the security team of our global R&D client.As a Security Officer you will be:

  • Part of a large Security team manning the site of one of the worlds leading global headquarters.
  • Ensuring the safety of all staff, contractors and visitors.
  • Stopping dangerous or threatening behaviour - controlling the situation until the arrival of the Police.
  • Patrolling
  • Monitoring CCTV, Fire Alarms and alarm systems if required.
  • Escorting visitors/staff around the premises.
  • Any other ad-hoc security duty.

  • SIA Licence (Desirable)
  • Correct Right to Work in the UK
  • 5 year checkable history
