Job Description

Plus plenty of opportunity for growth and development as we all strive to achieve our collective ambition.Were looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join the Engineering team. Youll be supporting two of our Scrum teams whose purpose it is to build our range of mental healthcare products that are making a profound difference to the lives of tens of thousandsof people.You will be a confident agile coach and mentor for the team and will help them resolve any blockers themselves, whilst shielding them from external distractions beyond their control. You will be able to recognise agile anti-patterns, and can articulate theirimpact and how they can be tackled as a group.Youre comfortable encouraging negotiation between the teams, Product Owners and various other stakeholders, shortening feedback loops and ensuring everyones views are considered. You will be able to guide the team on facilitation of their own Scrum eventswhilst providing valuable input and coaching on how to improve and get more value out of them. You will also educate business stakeholders about how to inspect what the team is working on, advising what metrics offer insight and avoiding their misuse.   • Familiarity with agile approaches (e.g. Scrum / Kanban)
  • Very strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience of creating and delivering improvement workshops
  • Ability to articulate the value of agile principles, techniques and approaches in laymans terms (to transcend the jargon)
  • Working experience of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to articulate effective methods of delivery planning during complex product development (planning the unknown)
