Yoh Scientific is supporting the initial scaling up of a developer of biotech platform enhancing therapeutics for the treatment of human disease. With particular focus around development of a novel class of therapeutic RNAs that can upregulate protein expression,they are now about to secure their second investment tranche and looking forward to 12 months of continued growth.They looking to add to their team with an experienced RNA Biologist / Scientist.Working on their pioneering technology which is expected to offer an entirely unique mechanism of action for currently hard-to-treat diseases you will need solid background experience in non-coding RNA biology (including microRNA, lncRNA), NGS, single-cellanalyses, bioinformatic and hightroughput screens..Your duties will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: Work closely with the Research Director to perform development and screening of RNA Therapeutic candidates using a range of methods including but not limited to DNA / RNA purification and preparation, PCR, plasmid construct design, Cloning and Transfectionactivities. Work collaboratively in to generate robust data sets to ensure the strong pipeline development of first in class Gene Therapeutics.
