Scientific Product AdministratorLocation: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB2 0AXSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentScientific Product Administrator - About the roleAbcam are looking for a Scientific Product Administrator to support integrating new products into the catalogue and help maintain and enhance our product data.Roles & Responsibilities

  • To contribute to maintaining and enhancing our existing product data through our product updates procedures.
  • By compiling and checking datasheets ensuring that they contain all information required by customers.
  • Create kit protocol booklets for kits and assays adhering to guidelines provided by both the project and product managers.
  • Ensure images received from our partners are analysed and our strict quality standards are upheld.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute toward our need to continually improve our processes and product information.
  • Scientific Product Administrator - About youOur ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a biological science (or equivalent), with good knowledge of antibodies and proteins. Previous experience working in a Life Science company in a similar would be desirable but not essential. You will have an understanding of antibody techniques e.g. western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, ELISA or flow cytometry. You will also have knowledge of databases such as Uniprot, NCBI and PubMed.You will be highly organised with great time management skills, able to work to deadlines with high attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
