Job Description

Scientific Customer Support & Marketing Coordinator Job Location: Cambridge Job Salary: £20-25k depending on experience Job Type: Full Time, Permanent. Working Hours: 8:30-5pm Job Keyword: Science Jobs / Graduate Science Jobs / Scientific Marketing Jobs / Marketing Jobs / Science Office Jobs / Biochemistry Jobs / Biomedical Science Jobs / Biology Jobs We are currently working with a Life Science Reagent Supplier in Cambridge who are looking for a Life Science graduate to join their team in a Scientific Customer Support & Marketing Coordinator role.The company supports life scientists worldwide by supplying high quality products at more affordable prices, including primary antibodies, proteins and peptides, different immunoassay kits as examples. They have a comprehensive range of over 100,000 bioscienceproducts to support different research areas.They are looking for driven and passionate science graduates with good communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively, to assist in the daily sales, customer support and marketing activities. This role would suit someone with a Life Sciencedegree who is looking to develop their career outside of a laboratory environment.Job Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer requests, generating quotations, processing scientific orders and organising delivery
  • Stock management and fulfillment, placing orders and processing life science stock
  • Coordinating with team members and suppliers to produce content for digital and print marketing campaigns
  • Producing content for the website, social media channels and print
  • Coordinating with distributors and other channel partners so they have the latest product catalogues, marketing materials and supporting them in their sales and marketing operations
Job Requirements
  • A degree in a Life Science subject (Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Biology etc.)
  • A Levels in a science subject are preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
  • Great attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel
