We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our dynamic team starting from January 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to students across all key stages, fostering a love for thesubject and promoting high standards of academic achievement.Key Responsibilities:• Creating Lesson Plans: Designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines.• Teaching Courses: Providing education to students through daily tasks such as planning and instructing lessons on science topics, such as biology, chemistry, or physics.• Student Assessment: Assessing and recording the progress of students’ learning to inform next steps. This includes grading students’ assignments, tests, and exams.• Classroom Management: Establishing classroom, lab, and field trip rules and regulations and ensuring that all students understand what is expected of them.• Communication: Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff. This includes providing guidance to students regarding their academic progress and helping them with schoolwork when necessary.• Administrative Tasks: Handling various administrative tasks, such as updating records.• Continuing Education: A commitment to continuing education.Qualifications and Skills:• A degree in Science or a related field.• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).• Experience teaching Science at various levels.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.To find out more about our current opportunities, please apply now or contact Sophie Binns at Reed Cambridge.
