Job Description

Scaffolding Sales Representative RoleJob SpecA specialist company in the scaffolding solutions industry are currently looking for a Sales Representative to help promote the company throughout their ongoing expansion. The successful candidate will build market position by locating, developing, defining,negotiating, and securing business relationships. You will use your experience to generate business opportunities from both existing and new accounts in order to achieve budgeted levels of revenue in a profitable and professional manner.You will build sustainable long-term relationships with customers by offering market leading products and solutions, working with the team to ensure that customer service levels and performance standards are met.Responsibility

  • Represent the company both by communicating by telephone, email, Teams/Zoom and in person to gain orders for all company products and services.
  • To build strong, profitable and sustainable relationships with customers.
  • Ensure contacts are established and maintained with the key customers and business influencers with a view to account development through targeted activity.
  • Maintain clear contact with the BDM/ Operations/ Relevant branches regarding specific customers operating both inside and outside of your designated territory to further develop the business.
  • Demonstrate Commercial awareness through understanding and application of commercial and financial principles and ensure you view issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.
  • Maintain effective work behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure and demonstrate resilience in pursuance of goals and objectives.
  • Achieve budgeted turnover and targets within agreed pricing policy and procedure.
  • Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a courteous, speedy and effective manner within the agreed timescales.
  • Plan and effectively implement sales calls and total area coverage in agreement with the Directors.
  • Aim to improve and understand technical or professional aspects of work and continually maintain technical capabilities through self-help/training.
