Whilst some of the system sales activities are straightforward, most involve an intricate sales process. As a sales specialist you will develop a deep knowledge of Detection platforms (Single and multimode plate readers, plate washers and cell imaging) in order to support various clients across your region. You will develop knowledge in applications, user software, perform customer demonstrations, presentations, and training.The role is offered with an attractive package which includes a base salary of circa £40,000-£45,000 (flexibility depending on experience) with additional bonus scheme and benefits.Role outline:• Manage sales of detection solutions in individual territory to achieve or exceed sales targets• Execute strategies and sales plans to achieve regional business and financial growth objectives• Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Your goal is to be in the field at least 3 to 4 days every week.• Performing technical consultancy to fully understand customer needs and detection objectives• Demonstrating technical solutions by configuring systems, presenting solutions, referrals or demos• Managing the Installation process after receipt of sales order to ensure successful revenue recognition• Devises and formulates regional detection growth plan in line with the overall company objectives• Networks with key opinion leaders and partners to drive the business• Provide regional market intelligence• Participation to exhibitions• Organization of demonstrations in the UK or at Key Customers• Training of customers post saleAbout you• Strong commercial skills and track record in sales – ideally at least three years of experience with track record in a similar position in sales• Life Sciences domain knowledge and BSc degree in life sciences (Chemistry and/or Biochemistry or Biology)• Strong organizational skills in relation to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines• Ability to work accurately and autonomously• Ability to communicate and understand the needs of the internal and external clients• Ability to work well under pressure• Willingness to travelWhat you will get• Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits package• Progressive employment conditions• Exciting career opportunities• Wide range of training courses• Strong company culture with rich historyLook no further and apply now!#lifescience #sales #healthcare #detection #medical device #biology #biotechnology#salesmanager #technicalconsultant #solutions #laboratory #consultant
