Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Sales Manager/Business LeadThe company:- With nearly 20 years in the Telecoms Services space, our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Over the last 5 years they have expanded all over the UK and further Europe. The company provide Operational, Technical and maintenance support, network implementation, design and Optimisation services to some of the biggest names in the Telecoms arena. incl:- BT, O2,EE, Nokia and Ericsson. With a network of support offices in the Midlands, North West and headquartered in Cambridge, the business is now ready to roll out further expansion plans and continues to enjoy a market leading position.The role:- Is based in Cambridge and is a new requirement reporting directly to the COO, with a dotted line into the Sales Director/Head of Sales. This is a senior sales role and as such you will need to take early ownership of the whole pre and post sales process. Identifying new markets, planning and executing sales activities as defined by the COO. Incl;- prospect identification through qualification, presentation, proposals, negotiation, contracts and closure. You will need to be able to identify and prioritise key market areas so that you can meet targets established by Sales Forecasts. Build, establish new business relationships and maintain global market representation. Key account management experience will be crucial as is the ability to negotiate and agree contracts. A strong understanding of delivery in the telecoms arena is essential. The person:- will be currently working in the telecoms sector, with a proven track record in sales. You will drive a robust sales programme with the COO to achieve sales targets and goals. A strong communicator/ influencer, comfortable making presentations and building business cases to secure new contracts and develop new business relationships.Take full responsibility for the P & L, profitability of new contracts/business, ensure contract compliance and delivery, including payment terms & debt management / recovery. You are an accomplished Sales manager with a proven track record in telecoms within a technical sales environment. With an already impressive network of business relationships. You will have a strong understanding of managing customer accounts and continued customer relationship management.You will also need to supply a supporting statement detailing why youwould be suitable for this vacancy, otherwise your application will not beconsidered.
