Job Description

Calling all RICS qualified and registered Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS) or AssocRICS Surveyors, we have a Residential Surveyor role for you – granted you have 18 months plus or so experience. This is an opportunity to become part of one of London’s biggest property providers, so they don’t do things by the half measure, and hopefully you don’t as well.This is a home-based role, and you’ll need to be in the locality of Cambridge.Get your mental checklist pen out to answer the six questions below:Do you have thorough knowledge of building pathology, lender guidance and expectationsDo you have the expertise to carry out Survey & Valuation work for UK Banks and Building Societies, along with Red Book Valuations for the purposes of probate, taxation and matrimonialAs well as the expertise to carry out homebuyer reports and building surveys for private clients Ok, this is desired, but would be nice anyhow.Do you have credibility and presence, and do you have excellent relationship-building skills both internally and externally, who wins trust quickly and maintains itAre you self-motivated and capable of taking the initiative and working effectively without supervisionAre you an effective team player who will work ‘hands on’ where necessary to ensure the business achieves its objectivesYes Nice!No Then at least this ad can be some bedtime literature.   • To produce accurate and high-quality valuation reports to our lender and private clients
  • To have a good market knowledge and to keep up to date with market changes.
  • To observe RICS regulatory requirements and to be aware of any changes, including those in respect of the Red Book
  • To observe the company’s policies and procedures including those relating to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety
    • Package & Benefits
  • £50k basic
  • Commission (7.5% up to £150k, 150-180k 15%, 180k+ 40% invoicing)
  • Car or car allowance
  • Work from home
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
