Job Description

Conveyancing Lawyer

  • Full Time (Monday to Friday)
  • Permanent - Office Based
  • Salary will be dependent on experience.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years PQE.
  • Based in Cambridge
Our client is a forward-thinking law firm with a fun, vibrant and hardworking ethos and they are seeking to recruit a Conveyancing Lawyer to join them on a full-time permanent basis in the Cambridge Office starting ASAP for the suitable applicant.Main purpose of the job role
  • Undertake and supervise fee earning work in Residential Conveyancing.
  • Ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the strategy identified in the business plan.
  • To administer all aspects of Residential Conveyancing on behalf of clients
Person Specification
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and make decisions
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Maintain a smart appearance and dress code appropriate for the role
  • Responsible for self-development and comply with relevant training requirements by the Law Society and in-house training when required.
Knowledge4 years’ experience of conveyancing, in particular Sale and Purchase and must have a law degree.Job Duties
  • Managing a mixed and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
  • To include freehold and leasehold, shared ownership and new build
  • Manageable caseload sizes of between 60 and 70 files
