A newly created opportunity has arisen for a candidate with excellent research, communications and advocacy skills, clear and engaging writing style and the ability to build relationships at all level to join this organisation based in Cambridge.This is a 24 month contract and key duties include -* Lead on policy and research projects and outputs in line with priorities and objectives. Consulting with stakeholders, including government bodies* Draft high quality briefing documents, responses, reports and publications on relevant issues for a variety of audiences* Liaise with counterparts in other organisations to commission and gather evidence* Monitor external reports, reviews and papers for relevance, highlighting relevant content and curating a collection of relevant reports, reviews and paper* Disseminating document insights and experience to the wider community. Writing and monitoring communications to ensure consistency and accuracy* Manage a newly created knowledge sharing software platform, keeping it up to date, advising and providing briefings on developments in policy, legislation, regulation, best practice and data/research.* Encouraging and enabling others to post questions and knowledge share* Organising, attending and contributing to the smooth operation of organisation meeting, both in the US and the UKThis is a hugely varied and autonomous role that will suit someone with excellent research and communication skills. The suitable candidate will be degree educated (or equivalent) and have experience in research, ideally with a link to government, policy and/or advocacy.
