Job Description

Research Associate- BiosensingREED are working with an exciting life sciences company based in the Cambridge area to fill a vacancy for Research Associate in Biosensing. You will be at the core of their laboratory work and will benefit from large upside in terms of compensation, careerprogression and future responsibility.About the Job

  • Characterisation of novel biosensor devices and development of new/improved biosensing methods
  • Executing molecular biology assays and experiments in relation with the research and clinical workflows
  • Supporting and influencing the development and implementation of novel platform
  • Managing individual projects and sharing concise updates with broader team
About You
  • Ph.D. or MSc. and at least 3 years of research experience in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Experience handling biological samples, e.g. proteins, DNA
  • Experience in combining proteins/DNA/RNA with synthetic materials
  • Experience handling nanoparticle assays, e.g. Gold nanoparticles, magnetic/metallic nanoparticles
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python, Matlab or similar
  • Self-starting, independent attitude aligned with strong desire to build game-changing technologies and impact discovery in life sciences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
