Job Description

Reporting Analyst | Up to £44K | Flexible/Hybrid| Cambridge | PermanentLangham Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a high-profile genomics institute / life sciences organisation supporting science and governments globally in tackling a range of diseases including Covid-19 and Malaria.Our client is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join their team. As a Reporting Analyst you will be required to focus on operational reporting and build an understanding of the data to enable you to analyse and validate report outputs with stakeholders.Whats on offer:

Key Responsibilities/ Objectives:
  • Ensure scheduled reports run efficiently using data from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Build an understanding of the data to enable you to analyse and validate report outputs with stakeholders to identify any issues or gaps within the current report suite while investigating and resolving any day-to-day issues.
  • Provide supervisory support to team members guiding them through requirement gathering and ensuring data sets suit these reporting requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders to collect detailed requirements
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Solid knowledge of and experience using SQL Server for advanced analysis and large-scale data manipulation
  • Experience in an Analyst role using both Waterfall and Agile tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of Data Visualization e.g. Power BI, Tableau
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written skills and ability to relate to a wide variety of people
