Role: Reliability Maintenance TechnicianLocation: CambridgeSalary: £45,000 + PackageReports to: Reliability & Continuous improvement LeadMy client are a leading real estate and facilities maintenance provider looking to strengthen their team with a Reliability Maintenance Technician for a brand-new state of the art building in Cambridge.About the role:Working closely with the site operational and project teams to drive programs, processes, and behaviours to improve and maintain asset reliability. Looking for opportunities to reduce equipment downtime by becoming an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in CBM (condition-basedmaintenance). This is a fantastic opportunity to prove and stretch credentials on an industry leading research & development new build on a prestigious account.Main Duties And Responsibilities:*Supporting FMECA on identified Critical / High Risk Assets.*Playing a key role in RCA investigations relating to equipment failure.*Interrogating the CMMS & BMS to better understand equipment failure.*Identifying improvements to the existing maintenance schedules to reduce cost and increase asset reliability with clearly defined benefits to the client.*Supporting the development of projects that could impact asset reliability.*Developing and sharing regular formal progress reports with the maintenance provider and client stakeholders.*Refining maintenance schedules using reliability data analysis based on continuous improvement learnings.*Communicating effectively in a professional and engaging manner across various layers of both the client and the maintenance provider*Reporting into the RCI (Reliability and Continuous Improvement) Manager, which will be supporting AstraZeneca day 2 projects and driving continuous improvements.*Learning new and existing technologies to implement, drive and improve CBM across the account.What is required for the role:*5 Years previous experience in a like for like role*Come from a Building services or Maintenance background*Time served apprenticeship*Technical training qualifications in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.*Recognised H&S qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH)*Knowledge of Building Management Systems / Pharma / Industrial Process / Manufacturing*Proven experience in recognising areas for business improvement through continuous improvements.*Experienced route cause analysis investigations and resulting corrective and preventative actions.
