Job Description

Reliability Group LeadCambridgeA leading medical device manufacturer in Cambridge are looking for a Reliability Group Lead to head up the Test & Verification division of their growing R&D Department. You will be helping develop their next generation products that are changing the medicalindustry.Key Responsibilities:

  • Group recruitment, training & development, coaching etc.
  • Short, medium & long-term strategy development
  • Deliver internal group improvement projects including development and maintenance of standards and processes
  • Ensure all projects are appropriately resourced and consistently delivered to a high standard
  • Technical Lead on small to medium projects
  • Ensure documentation & process is compliant to relevant standards (FDA, MDR, ISO etc.)
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in electronics/electro-mechanical/mechanical engineering or another relevant discipline
  • 5+ years experience in a verification/test engineer role
  • Group leadership & team management
  • Developing & validating test infrastructure & electro-mechanical test rigs
Non-essential/Nice to have:
  • Experience in the medical Industry or another highly controlled environment
  • Device Risk Management
  • Model based system engineering (MATLAB/Simulink etc.)
  • Python scripting or other scripting languages
