Job Description

We are looking for a qualifiedRefrigeration Engineer to work and test our range of refrigeration products, both current and next generation.As a Refrigeration Engineer you will be:

  • Joining an established team of Mechanical and Control Engineers.
  • Guide the design aspects of refrigeration systems in various R&D projects
  • Provide input to complete design work (mostly refrigeration but electrical/electronic as well)
  • Conduct the test programme for the further models
  • Work closely with the Engineering compliance manager to make sure all compliance requirements are met in the completed designs
As a Refrigeration Engineer you will have:
  • In order for your application to be considered, youll need to have a qualification in electrical/electronic engineering, or refrigeration technology, along with the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of designing Refrigeration equipment, including capillary systems and expansion valve systems
  • A good theoretical knowledge of refrigerant cycles
  • Experience with refrigerant selection and an understanding of their relative merits and disadvantages
  • Knowledge of F-GAS refrigeration standards and certifications
  • An understanding of variable speed compressors and other advances in refrigeration technology
  • Experience of selecting components, such as compressors, expansion valves, heat exchangers, etc.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic systems as applied to modern refrigeration systems
  • Experience of integration and testing of refrigeration systems
  • Experience of working to relevant standards that may influence the design, production, and service of the products
  • Working experience with mechanical CAD software
