Job Description

Wouldnt it be great to look back in five years time and think: "wow. I helped make that happen"This small but growing medical device manufacturer in Cambridge need a Quality Manager, and their product will genuinely improve and save lives.Client DetailsWith a strong sales forecast ahead of them, theyre in the process of in-sourcing several components from a their contract partner to help give them more control.Their product is CE Marked and FDA approved, and they already have distribution channels in place across the world. Now they need a Quality Manager to help make it a reality.DescriptionA Quality Manager position in any business has two main components - ensuring technical compliance, and managing a team.By drawing upon your experience in the medical sector, you will act a font of knowledge when it comes to regulations, notified bodies and audits, documentation and process adherence. That doesnt just mean helping your team though - youll be supporting the whole business.Youll coach and develop the quality team to become best in class, sailing through audits and helping to iron out any issues in engineering and manufacturing processes.Youll take part in strategic business plans to help future-proof the systems as the business grows, and instill a positive and co-operative culture.ProfileYou dont necessarily need to have been a Quality Manager before, but youll be an expert when it comes to the world of medical devices, MDR/IVDR transitions, regulations and notified bodies.Youll know the requirements of ISO13485 inside out, and probably feel comfortable you could add value in a smaller business.Job OfferThe opportunity to grow with the business, an attractive salary and cooperative working environment, and the chance to look back in five years and think:"wow. I made that happen".So, Quality specialists. Even if you dont have an updated CV, or youre not at management level right now, get in touch and well discuss further. Required skills
