Job Description

Python Django Full Stack Developer A technology-driven media company are looking for Python Developers to work in its Cambridge office (multiple roles at different levels available).Your job will be a mixture of working within the existing stack and creating new exciting technology from the ground up. Key coding skill needed is Python, Django framework would be ideal.The technology stack includes Python, Django, node.js, Rest services, AWS, Javascript, MySQL.Responsibilities:

  • Day to day coding Python Django framework.
  • Designing, coding and debugging critical processes within our data infrastructure.
  • Be part of a thriving tech team. This means from day one your ideas count.
  • As a small, successful team, they recognise that everyones opinion matters. They want you to contribute to the team, not just do the job.
  • In time, taking additional responsibilitys and ownership of software components.
  • Building and using REST APIs.
    • Requirements:
  • Know your way around full stack development.
  • Have a passion for open source software.
  • Have the ability to learn new things quickly.
  • Be a language agnostic developer; it is not the specific language you code in, or tool you work with that counts, its the end result.
  • Degree, preferably in a computer science related discipline although candidates from Maths or Physic, Science backgrounds will also be considered providing you can demonstrate good knowledge of coding.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
