  • Utilising your proteomic expertise, you will be responsible for in-depth protein analysis (identification and quantification) of complex samples, providing high quality support to a number of research groups.
  • This will heavily involve operating and maintaining the latest Orbitrap instruments, and associated nanoLC systems.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of sample preparation for MS analysis, including processing and analysis of datasets.
What youll need to succeed
  • You will hold a BSc/MSc/PhD in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry (or a related discipline), including proven experience working in a proteomics/ protein chemistry laboratory.
  • You will bring demonstrable experience running high-end Mass Spectrometry instrumentation, followed by experience in analysing proteomic data.
  • Familiarity of bioinformatic tools (R, Python, or similar languages)/ methods for quantification will be a significant advantage.
