A leading antibody discovery company based in Cambridge are looking for a Research Associate to join their biotherapeutics team to perform experiments supporting discovery projects for company partners for use in diverse applications. This is a great opportunityfor a recent graduate to join the industry with an innovator in antibody discovery.As a Research Associate you will be joining an experienced Biotherapeutics team carrying out technical work to support growing projects following experimental designs. You will grow into the role by working under the guidance of more senior scientists, thentransitioning into working effectively without supervision. The responsibilities that you will have involve the expression of proteins from E.coli and assessing their quality using SDS-PAGE, Chromatography and Western blot. You will also be involved in generalmolecular biology techniques such as DNA purification, E.coli transformation and PCR and perform antibody binding assays using ELISA.Essential requirements for this role:
