Our client is looking to recruit a Property Maintenance Engineer on a fulltime permanent basis to work Monday to Friday. Our client has over 200 properties including student accommodation spread across the Cambridgeshire region with a few more propertiesfurther afield. Mainly the properties are in Cambridge and Peterborough.The job role is to carry out general maintenance within these properties as and when needed. This will include small leaks, fixing fridges and freezer doors, replacing door handles generally small remedial roles such as replacing a plug socket. Also, aspart of this role they would like someone who can test fire alarms.This role is based on home as you will be travelling to different locations on a daily basis however you will attend the head office near Cambridge probably once or twice a week as needed.The company provide a work van and any specialist tools, you will be provided with a credit card so that you can source, and purchase products needed to complete the jobs rather than travelling back to the head office.In a nutshell our client is lookingfor someone who has a rounded experienced with DIY maintenance who has an outgoing personality as you will be on customer sites.The role is Monday to Friday 7.30am till 4.30pm (42hours a week). However, your day starts from the time you leave home not expected time on site
