An exciting new position has arisen for a Product Owner / Project Leader with strong project management and leadership of embedded software projects to join one of the worlds best medical devices / medical diagnostics innovation and design companies, whoare developing technology which is quite literally saving lives. You will use your expert software project management / product owners skills to plan, manage and drive forward complex software projects.In return you will be working for a company which fosters new ideas, encourages personal development and is a true investor in their employees. The work environment is first class, and you will be offered a very competitive salary with area leading benefitsand bonus scheme.Hybrid working can be offered for the right candidate, although you will need to be able to commute to the Cambridge office two days a week.The role is also open to candidates who require Visa sponsorship.Requirements of Project Manager - Software - Embedded* Excellent academic record with 1st or 2:1 degree in Software Engineering or equivalent* Recent and relevant experience of Project Management and leadership of, Software Projects (ideally Embedded) across a range of sizes, durations and domains as part of a broader multidisciplinary team.* Able to manage the full software engineering life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, and obtaining and managing resources.* Facilitate project execution, deployment and closure.* Excellent knowledge of different delivery methodologies such as Waterfall / Agile / Iterative and knowledge of how to apply them effectively.* Able to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, directors, other project managers and the development teams* Able to work across multiple projects, concurrently and as required.* Excellent communication skills to summarise project status and discuss critical issues/milestones.* Hands-on and practical with the ability to solve problems as they arise* Eager to tackle new challenges* Experience as Product Owner, SCRUM Master or similar roles - Certifications welcome beneficial.* Familiar with agile project management, including SCRUM, Kanban or SAFe beneficialSalary: £70k - £100k + Excellent Bens and bonus Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working considered)Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
