Job Description

A leading biopharmaceutical company based in Cambridge are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team and utilise their skills to successfully deliver projects on time and in budget.Role:Project ManagerLocation: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, UKContract:PermanentHours:Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekDuties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate and liaise effectively across multiple teams (including: Accounting; Business Development; Finance; Project Management & Technical Operations) to successfully deliver projects for global clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects in all stages of completion.
  • Closely work with US Project Managers to transfer and deliver intercountry projects.
  • Communicate with BD and Sales teams to fully understand the scope, priority, and timings of upcoming projects.
  • Plan, head, document, and follow up on internal and external meetings regarding technical project elements and project status.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Life Science degree (BSc or higher).
  • Project management experience.
  • Specialised project management training (e.g., PMP/PRINCE2).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Have working knowledge of project management software, e.g., MS Project, as well as other programs within the MS Office Suite.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Project management experience within a contract science or pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment.
  • Experience with enterprise, resource, planning (ERP) platforms.
