Job Description

Programme Manager - Medical Technology Cambridge£60k-£90k (dep on exp) + excellent benefitsWe are looking for a highly technical Programme Manager to join one of the UKs leading engineering & product design consultancies based in Cambridge. You will work in multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists, leading the development of complex,R&D product developments for clients in a wide range of medical tech - within medical devices; Digital Health, Diagnostics, Pharma, Biotech and many more.The Programme Manager will be managing challenging complex product development projects covering the full product development lifecycle from concept through to manufacture. The role would ideally suit a Programme Manager who has worked within a Consultancyenvironment before, working on multiple projects at any one time.Responsibilities

  • Management of highly technical programmes involving multi-discipline teams (software, digital signal processing, electronics hardware, mechanical and production engineering)
  • Supporting the sales process, you will work with a small group of seniors to define a programme of work which solves a specific client need, for an agreed budget in an agreed timescale.
  • Leading the team of talented engineers to deliver that programme through the complete development lifecycle, from requirements definition through to final delivery.
  • Keeping the client informed of progress and ensure that risks and issues are managed along the way.
Job Requirements
  • A good degree in Engineering or Science (or related discipline)
  • Extensive experience as a Programme Manager (or Senior Project Manager) covering the full product development lifecycle of complex technology products
  • Ideally experinece of ISO13485 and experience within highly regulated industries - Medical, Automotive or Aerospace.
  • Experience in product transfer into manufacture (NPI)
  • Experienced in managing multi-disciplinary NPD projects (analogue, digital, software, mechanics
