Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Programme Manager / Area ManagerWBL / ApprenticeshipsLocation:Home/Field based - Must be flexible with occasional travel in to HertfordshireSalary:£34,000 - £37,000 + Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Pension, + Much More!Type:Full Time, PermanentDuties:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Apprenticeship programmes acrossRetail and Management.
  • Management of a team of 10 Tutors.
  • Manage the set-up of new programmes including learner registrations, schemes of work, delivery models etc.
  • Manage the end point assessment process.
  • Performance management, ensuring contractual targets and objectives are met in terms of timely success rates, non-starters, referrals and progressions.
  • Address under performance and implement corrective methods.
  • Conduct regular observations in the field, to ensure outstanding teaching and learning, and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Manage the IQA process and contribute to the overall quality process, including QIP and SAR.
  • Responsible for business growth; working alongside the recruitment department to maximise new business sales and learner recruitment.
  • Budget control and financial management of the companies training provision.
  • Recruitment, retention, reviews, staff training and development.
Essential Criteria:
  • Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
  • Recognised Internal Verifier award (D34, V1, IQA, or TAQA L4).
  • Experience ofleading a team within the work-based learning industry.
  • Proven experience in the development and management of Apprenticeship programmes, ideally within Business Skills.
  • Excellent people management and performance management skills, with experience in completing observations of teaching and learning
  • Understanding of Ofsted inspections and ESFA funding rules.
  • Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
