Were looking for a talented Production Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturer of specialist machinery for the sporting arena market, based in Cambridge.The RoleThe RoleReporting to the Manufacturing Director (for whom you will both deputise and be looking to take their job in time), the Production Manager will take responsibility for everything production relation from setting the strategy to ensuring it is delivered against.This will encompass areas such as planning and scheduling, output, budgets, HSE and Quality.You will do this via a team of Supervisors who are tasked with managing specific cells that make up the production process.The RequirementsThe ideal person for this Production Manager role will have:* Production management experience - ideally machinery based but other backgrounds will be considered* Can flip between the strategist and the do-er; you will need to not be afraid of getting your hands dirty when needed* Effective people management skills* Worked with ERP systemsIf youre an experienced Production Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity, wed love to hear from youNote you may be suitable if you have worked in any of the following roles:Manufacturing ManagerPlant ManagerProduction SupervisorOperations ManagerFactory ManagerCoburg Banks Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
