Job Description

Specific responsibilities and priorities may vary based on company maturity, strategy, and the nature of the product itself.The following is a summary of the responsibilities of the role

  • Working with the Product Strategy team to define, maintain and clearly communicate product roadmaps, including metrics and rationale for prioritisation at regular cadences
  • Ensure that product functionality delivers meaningful value slices rather than unusable standalone functionality for Ieso stakeholders and customers
  • Assess the adherence to business strategy to ensure that we yield maximum value from the finite resources available
  • Provide clarity from ambiguity, negotiate with business and cross functional stakeholders on conflicting requirements, etc. This may include holding meetings to deliberate on solving specific problems, identify risks and manage technology-related restrictions
  • Be a strong advocate of rapid prototyping, delivering MVPs that iterate towards product-market-fit
  • Accountable for products and services that Ieso builds to deliver value for customers and investors, and therefore increases the customer base and sales opportunities
  • Work with Product Design manager to establish the methodologies and procedures for conducting research, design conceptualization, prototyping, and product development
  • Engage with customers and the Ieso Business Development and Sales team to hear their perspective and understand their needs
  • Ensure that the products and services align with commercial strategy as well as meeting compliance to market needs
  • Accountable for the P&L of your product line and to optimise performance in line with the strategic objectives of the business
  • Report regularly on the performance of the product to the senior leadership team
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market is not essential but would be an advantage. Otherwise, transferable skills from another regulated market would be required
RequirementsEssential
  • Passionate about contributing to our mission to defeat mental illness
  • Driven by metrics and ability to back up hypothesis with qualitative and quantative data
  • Proven ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Demonstrable success in defining early stage products and experience of the entire product lifecycle
  • Experience of managing and launching cloud-native products
  • A strong advocate of Product Management
  • Skilled in the art of prioritisation
  • Ability to document product requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable representing the product in commercial discussions with B2B customers
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
Desirable
  • Passionate about product management and the healthcare market
  • Inquisitive and knowledgeable about technology
  • Able to network and develop key relationships at all levels
  • Strong negotiating and teamwork skills
  • Experience with a data visualisation platform such as Looker
  • Experience using Jira
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
