Job Description

This role is for a forward-thinking unique technology start-up company who are set to revolutionise the use of semiconductor materials, aiming to revolutionise the electronics industry across a wide variety of applications. Their focus is to deliver multifunctional semiconductor wafers targeting high impact final device applications, reducing electricity consumption worldwide, whilst operating at a far faster capacity and speed. As a result of a new round of funding, they are looking for an additional two Test Engineers to push their innovative products forward.Process Engineer Role:As part of the on going growing team, the Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring engineering processes capability and process stability are met to an exceptional standard.Process Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring an effective running of their processes
  • Maintaining day-to-day activities in both the laboratory and cleanroom
  • Assisting the team in optical characterisation of their products
  • Liaising with the process team on continuous improvement
  • Ensuring proper and thorough documentation of records
  • Process Engineer Requirements:
  • Experience working within a laboratory or manufacturing environment
  • Observant and excellent attention-to-detail
  • PhD in a relevant subject with a focus on semiconductors, material sciences, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or;2+ years testing or process engineer experience in semiconductors
  • Experience with material characterisation using EL, PL XRD, SEM etc
  • Knowledge and understanding of wide-bandgap semiconductor materials and characterisation process technologies
